I’m having a hard time finding a family doctor. Would seeing a nurse practitioner be an acceptable substitute?

This is a personal decision that needs to be based on being comfortable with a primary care provider.

 IPS : un bilan encourageant
...Le Québec compte pas moins de 141 infirmières praticiennes spécialisées (IPS) dans quatre domaines d’activité, soit 28 en cardiologie, 13 en néphrologie, 12 en néonatalogie et 88 en soins de première ligne. À ce nombre, s’ajouteront 18 IPS, qui seront confirmées vers la mi-mars.
